Tagg—the Pet Tracker Pet Location and Activity Tracker by Snaptracs, Inc

Tagg—The Pet Tracker is a purpose-built device that uses advanced GPS and wireless technology to track a pet’s location and activity. The lightweight, water-resistant Tagg tracker attaches to a pet’s existing collar.

With Location Tracking, if a pet leaves the designated “Tagg zone” (geofence), the owner is quickly notified by text and email so they can find their pet on a map that shows the pet’s last known location with an estimated street address.

With Activity Tracking, the owner can track a pet’s daily activity levels to help ensure the pet is getting the proper amount of vet-recommended exercise.

CAR-FI by David Lewis Designers for Bang&Olufsen

Bang & Olufsen have teamed up with Audi, Aston Martin, AMG and BMW with an ambition to deliver a top-of-the-range sound and design experience to their discerning customers.

The task was to create a distinctive visual presence for Bang & Olufsen in each of a number of Audi and Aston’s car models, beginning with existing models and progressing to new models in early stages of development.

As the car interiors were still in the design phase, designers at David Lewis would build quick doors and instrument panels in cardboard, based on preliminary sketches and CAD data from the car designers. Concepts were hand sketched and then rapidly modelled using David Lewis’ signature modelling techniques, tweaked and developed over the decades.

Musicon - musical toy by Kamil Laszuk

The design challenge was to create a new way of use music as part of a child’s development process. Musicon is the culmination of research and analysis of how children learn in a creative and self-directed manner.

Musicon works like a “Barrel organ”. The main part is a rorating drum with hundreds of moveable buttons which activate the various instruments held in place on a magnetic frame.

Jet Pack by Aaron Puglisi and Daniel Shirley for Tessel Supply

The Tessel Jet Pack is designed to help us stay connected to the imagination and creativity of our childhood as we inevitably grow up. The faceted fabric is playful and its form reacts to the contents of the backpack.

The Jet Pack has two compartments: the primary zipper opens up into the main volume of the bag and the front zipper opens up into a smaller front pocket.

The Jet Pack’s interior includes a faux fur lined laptop compartment, an iPad sleeve and places for pens and pencils.

Design inspiration came from stealth fighters and geometric building blocks.

Donut by Suhyun Yoo, Eunah Kim and Jinwoo Chae

‘DONUT’ consent has a donut-shaped hole in the middle instead of two small holes. This makes life a lot easier because you can plug in all directions. You are not being constrained by just two holes. Even if this outlet is placed in out of sight. You can plug your sockets easily.
