WHAT IS INDUSTRIAL DESIGN?
Industrial design is an intellectual, technical, creative and projectual activity that establishes, always through a methodology that makes possible to get objective solutions, all the required properties for the most appropriate serial manufacturing of any type of object and / or device.
Industrial design not only takes care of the technical and technological facets which will allow the most optimized manufacture process, but in addition it must show, through them, the level of progress that comes through constant innovation and incorporate all the required properties for them to be products. That is, industrial design must also address the needs of the market and all the functional and communicative-cultural aspects of the objects.
This approach allows industrial design to be used too for the analysis and formulation of proposals and solutions which are not necessarily material, such as service design, research, thinking and others.
Industrial design is an intermediary between the user needs and the needs of industries and/or companies, looking for a balance of beneficts and solutions between all the parties. In this balance, it must always prevail the human and environmental respect.
