Donut by Suhyun Yoo, Eunah Kim and Jinwoo Chae

‘DONUT’ consent has a donut-shaped hole in the middle instead of two small holes. This makes life a lot easier because you can plug in all directions. You are not being constrained by just two holes. Even if this outlet is placed in out of sight. You can plug your sockets easily.

Bendit - Plywood Sled by Roger Kellenberger

The plywood sledge design concept ‘Bendit’ is a sustainable ‘snow rider’ combining fluid forms with cutting-edge use of materials. Its main look is defined through sheets of bent plywood.

The ergonomically shaped seating area provides optimal hold for the user, while the s-curved sections support overall balance and cushioning suspension. The rubber covered leash empowers easy pulling and enables users to maintain precise control for downhill rides of varying difficulty.

Maple Set kitchen knives by The Federal

The Maple Set by designers at The Federal is all about balance: of materials, hard and soft; of weight in your hand; of sexy and sinister.

The focus is drawn to the high polished blade, while the rest of the knife’s Maple wood body sits warmly in the hand and blends in to its surroundings.

Wood used on these prototypes is sealed for easy cleanup and safe food prep.

GIGS.2.GO by  Kurt Rampton & BOLTroup

When you need to share files on-the-go, simply tear off a tab from the GIGS.2.GO pack. Each tab is a tiny thumb drive. Because GIGS.2.GO is inexpensive and made from renewable materials, you can feel comfortable leaving the tabs behind. And you’ve still got more tabs, ready when you need them.

The molded paper pulp enclosure is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper. It’s renewable, biodegradable, lightweight, cheap, and durable enough to ensure that each tab should last for many uses.

Ôyer clothes dryer by Pengfei LI

In Southern Asia, the rainy season lasts about 50 days from June to July. There is no sun, and relative humidity reaches 90%. It’s very difficult to dry clothes. Today, we have the drying racks, but they are slow to dry and the machine dryer is untransportable and consumes much electricity. Why not design a product that will dry quickly and use less?

Ôyer is a clothes dryer that dries clothes faster and use less energy. We place the clothes in the bag and press the button to start Ôyer. Thanks to the humidity sensor and temperature sensor, Ôyer will stop automatically when the clothes will be dry.

Ôyer has a small dimension, which will carry it everywhere.

LM Box by Ane Domaas

Material: Birch, metal, magnets, acrylic
Photo: Andreas Kallstad, Domaas/Høgh

The LM Box is a mood creating lamp with magnetic surfaces hidden inside the wood. Different magnetic elements creates additional functions, other than light. The product says something about the need to express itself. This is done in a light and happy way.

The user is involved in the process with realizing the potential of the lamp. The lamp has two illumination surfaces which makes it very versatile for accent lighting and to illuminate up the room it is in. By using the magnetic elements, you can hang up important piece of paper, your keys or other small items. You can also write a happy note on the surface of the lamp. The application of the lamp can be standing on a table, hanging on the wall, maybe on your nightstand or in the office
